About us

About us?

Jaén Montessori International School is the first bilingual Montessori international school in the province of Jaén.

We are a multidisciplinary team that has been working for years to offer the families of Jaén a respectful and quality space.

We have opened a space where each boy and girl can develop at their own pace, autonomously, with scientifically designed materials to meet their cognitive needs, and where each professional will care for and promote social-affective development.

Together with the NEASC accreditation agency, we ensure that we offer educational quality at an international level, meeting all physical and learning requirements.

Our Spaces

Jaén Montessori International School

Our school is located in a large, bright and quiet area of the city. The center's facilities have large windows in each classroom, which allows excellent entry of natural light into all areas of the school.

The center has exterior views of a beautiful park that is a wonderful place for children to explore and enjoy nature. It is the ideal place to carry out outdoor activities such as walks, excursions, games and learning activities. The school also has several outdoor areas, such as patios and gardens, which offer an ideal environment for outdoor play and recreation. In these spaces, students can play, practice sports or simply enjoy the fresh air and contact with nature. In addition, the school has green areas to practice gardening and for students to learn about the importance of caring for the environment.

The school building has multiple Montessori classrooms, each specifically designed to facilitate the personalized education of children. Each classroom is equipped with Montessori learning materials and tools, and has work areas so children can explore and learn at their own pace. In addition, the school has a library and a science laboratory so that students have access to additional educational resources.

"The Montessori method meant for me a new perspective on teaching as a process of growth and personal development in which the child is the protagonist and the adult accompanies and listens to them. In Vereda Montessori, I have the opportunity to be at the service of each child in a prepared environment since my mission here is to offer a bilingual, respectful and quality education."

We protect childhood

At Jaén Montessori, International School we ensure that the boys and girls who attend the center are in an environment that offers and promotes their physical, emotional and emotional security.

Our objectives as an educational center in favor of child protection are:

Offer a safe and trusting environment, where each member of the community acts under the values of respect, empathy and professionalism.

Promote personal physical development and self-care, in the context of valuing life and one's own body, through hygiene habits and risk prevention.

Prevent school abuse among its members in all its forms, through comprehensive strategies that incorporate the entire educational community, maintaining over time interpersonal relationships away from discriminatory and intolerant climates.

Guide the family in this important educational task so that they can effectively play their role by actively participating in the definition of value content in the sexual education of their children.

To fulfill these objectives, Jaén Montessori has the duty to:

Recognize, respond to, and report allegations and suspicions of abuse and neglect. Hire staff and volunteers suitable for working with minors, who have undergone a rigorous selection process. Educate about the prevention of sexual abuse. Deliver a clear and precise code of conduct on the interaction of children and adults. Promote trustworthy practices and environments. Contact local authorities if necessary.
